Southfields Theatre Group are delighted to announce that our next show will be:
Relive the magical tale of Rapunzel like never before, complete with a whole host of zany characters, classic comedy and enchanting music. Rapunzel is no ordinary girl; stolen away by the evilest Witch in all of Pantoland, she has grown up knowing nothing of the world outside her window. Desperately longing for her freedom, Rapunzel’s dreams look to come true as, on the morning of her eighteenth birthday, a mysterious, but handsome, stranger finds himself outside her tower. Before long Rapunzel and Flynn are on the adventure of a lifetime, dodging evil curses, celebrating with happy locals, and discovering their Happy Ever After. Just as it seems everyone will live harmony, Rapunzel is snatched away by the evil Mother Gothel and locked in the tower once more. It’s left up to Flynn, his not-so-clever brother Flyck, their mother, Widow Bloom, and the cursed villagers of the Harmony village to save Rapunzel and defeat the Witch once and for all! Will they rescue her in time or will a witch’s curse eighteen years in the making ensure Rapunzel and her friends never get their happily ever after?
The Cast is now OPEN and you can get involved by coming along to our read through on the 13th October at the Aspire Centre, Southfields at 7:30PM. We will also be holding a singing workshop on the 20th October, and Auditions on the 27th October.
