With our keen passion for literature, Southfields Theatre Group entertained their audiences with a sold out run of Little Women, by Louisa May Alcott. The production was directed by Annalisa Robinson, her first time directing and I think everybody will agree that she did a fantastic job. Her understanding of the text made the audience feel so many emotions as well as enjoy the production in its entirety.
The production held a relaxed performance on the Saturday matinee, for anyone with disabilities, learning or sensory difficulties. As a community theatre group, we are passionate about making our performances as accessible to everyone as possible.
After the show, as a thank you to Ian, Ruth and the Team at St. Barnabas Church, we asked the audience to donate towards their new piano as their old one is getting on a bit and needs to retire. We raised £284.00 in total.
